WE DO NOT PLACE OUR DACHSHUNDS WITH BROKERS, PET STORES OR AS BREEDING ANIMALS.

We want families or individuals that have our puppies to make a lifetime commitment to this puppy as a companion. They are to never be given up to a rescue or an animal shelter. If for any reason you can not care for this dog at any time during the life of this animal you are to contact Hidden Cedars and we will take this puppy back. We will not refund any money but will make every attempt to help place this dog. You will be responsible for the costs of transportation back to Hidden Cedars. When you wish to hold a puppy until it is old enough to go to your home (10 weeks if you pick up from Hidden Cedars---12 weeks if shipped) we ask a $150 nonrefundable deposit. We will accept a personal check for the deposit ONLY. The deposit is included in the purchase price. The remainder of the purchase price must be paid in cash, credit card, money order or cashiers check. The purchase price and any shipping charges must be paid in full BEFORE the pup can leave Hidden Cedars. We do accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover.

All our pups come with a written health guarantee. They are wormed every two weeks from birth till they have a home or are on heartworm preventative. They start their vaccines at 8 weeks and vaccines are updated as required. We feed Eukanuba Puppy food dry to all our puppies.

If your puppy is to be shipped, we try to ship most of our pups on Continental Airlines. We do however use other Airlines as well, when needed. The price for shipping on Continental Airlines to almost anywhere in the US is $210 at this time. The price of a shipping crate is $35/$50, depending on size of crate and a $40 charge for a health certificate, is all added to the price of the puppy. If the pup is over 3 months old when shipped an additional $12 for a rabies vaccine is required. The total added to the price of the pup is $285 without rabies and $297 with rabies. After the total amount for the pup and the shipping are mailed priority mail to Gloria LaTour 105 C Gourd Creek Cemetery Rd. Huntsville, TX 77340 in the form of a money order or cashiers check then we will decide what days are good for each of us for you to receive your new pup. You may also pay for your puppy with MasterCard, Visa or Discover. We ship on the first flight out in the mornings to the destination we have agreed on.

Once you have decided this is what you want to do just email glatour@dachshundpups.com or call Gloria LaTour at 936-344-8852 , fill out the puppy questioneer and tell me which of our dachshunds you are wanting to call your own. We try to keep our pages updated with homes pending and pups that are already placed so as not to cause any undue disappointments. We do however love for our pups to go to people that will still share them with us through stories and pictures when possible. We, of course, will be glad to answer any questions that you have concerning our pups at any time before or after purchase.
